- Your score on all 50 criteria, rated well, adequate or inadequate
- A check of the legal and contract requirements
- The five quickest fixes, whoever your supplier is

How does your website score against the NHS benchmark?
NHS England has a GP website benchmarking and improvement tool. It checks a practice website against 50 criteria, and ICBs, PCNs and practices use it to see how well patients can use a site.
50 criteria
36 patient priorities, like contacting the practice, ordering a prescription and registering. 14 practice priorities, like keeping the site up to date. Plus a check of the legal requirements.
Rated well, adequately or inadequately
Each criterion gets a rating. The aim is “well” on all 50: that’s a website patients can use without help.
We check yours, free
We score your current website on all 50 criteria and the legal checks, and send you the results with the quickest fixes, whoever your supplier is.
Our platform makes 50/50 possible
Many of the 50 criteria depend on the website itself: accessibility, page structure, and how quickly patients reach what they need. Those are built into MySurgery.site, so they’re done for you. The rest depend on what your practice publishes, and we make that quick to keep right.

- The main patient tasks one click from the homepage
- Works on any phone, tablet or computer
- Opening times for walk-in, phone and online, for every branch
